Villa Nag Shampa Estate with 8 bedrooms lies not too far from the mountain town of Ubud, in the peaceful village of Taro, where the ancient rhythm of life, prayer and ceremony established over centuries ago, still exists today. Villa Nag Shampa Estate offers a traditional Joglo style Javanese Architecture, blended with contemporary features, 5 swimming pools, full time dedicated staff and private chef, large yoga space, creates a celebration of elegant simplicity for up to 16 guests.

Nag Shampa Estate is comprised of 8 over-sized bedrooms, ranging from expansive Joglo style, to private pool villas. The three impressive Joglo buildings as you walk down through our orchards, house the Master Suite, The Lounge and The Dining Room. Constructed with natural and locally sourced materials, each building encourages a cultural authentic experience, without compromising elegant, modern design elements. Two mirror image Joglos house another 4 spacious rooms, while 3 traditionally built free-standing Pool Villas are quite private. Filled with eclectic and meaningful treasures, all dwellings are infused with warmth and style.

Nag Shampa Estate has 5 swimming pools. The Orchard Pool with its private dining bale, the Main Pool which surrounds the impressive and inspiring Yoga Shala, plus three private pools dedicated to their own dwellings.

The Spa at Nag Shampa inspires relaxation and contentment. Set on a ridge, surrounded by verdant green terraces, with the tinkling sound of the river far below, our therapists will make you feel special and nurtured.

The Yoga Shala provides a haven of spiritual wellness and is a proud and iconic building on the Estate. Dedicated to your needs and personal journey, our goal is to listen to the individual and provide a customized and holistic environment.

Every guest is different, so each menu has been especially designed to take into account favorites, yet deliver food to indulge the senses and is good for you. We practice organics and produce as much as possible from our orchards and gardens. Our chefs are local and many menus are inspired by their own knowledge of simple, yet cultural cuisine.
