The 12 bedroom Shalimar Villa Estate’s tranquil beachfront location is approached through a quintessential Balinese landscape of coconut palms and rice fields, peppered with the peaks of mountains on the horizon. This untouched spot is situated on the south west coast right beside the traditional village of Seseh in Canggu where life has remained largely unchanged by the progress of the modern world.

The 3 luxurious villas which form this piece of paradise have unbeatable views of the surrounding natural beauty and were restored back to their former glory at the end of 2016. Contemporary tropical architecture, vast open air living spaces and an abundance of light intermingles with the soft sound of the waves, a myriad of exotic green and sweet scented frangipani trees to bring you a holiday retreat that you will simply never want to leave.

THE VILLAS

There are 3 separate modern, full staffed and equipped villas that can be rented out together or individually and can accommodate up to 24 guests

Villa Shalimar means “nest of love", comprises of 6-bedroom Villa Shalimar Kalima, 4-bedroom Villa Shalimar Makanda, and 2-bedroom Villa Shalimar Cantik.

Villa Shalimar Kalima

• 6 bedrooms, positioned over three different levels. All 6 air-conditioned bedrooms have large bathrooms. Downstairs the bedrooms have showers and all other bathrooms have shower and bathtub.
• A private swimming pool of 9 x 20 meters with 1,40 depth at the deepest end. In the pool a wooden table at the shallow part of the pool with sun umbrella. Three relaxation beds built-in within the pool
• Large open air living and dining area (sits 12), fully equipped open kitchen (all meals are prepared at its separate professional kitchen), I-Pod Speaker and stereo.

Villa Shalimar Makanda

• 4 bedrooms positioned over two different levels, all air-conditioned bedrooms feature large bathrooms with shower and bath tubs.
• A private swimming pool of 9 x 20 meters with 1,40 depth at the deepest end.
• Large open air living and dining area (seats 12 guests), fully equipped open kitchen (all meals are prepared at its separate professional kitchen).
• Plasma TV of 32 inch screen, DVD player, I-Pod speaker, and Stereo, Wireless internet connection.

Villa Shalimar Cantik

• 2 air-conditioned bedrooms positioned over one level. Open air living area and fully equipped kitchen.
• A private swimming pool of 7 x 9 meters.
• Large bathrooms with showers.
• Fully equipped open kitchen (all meals are prepared at its separate professional kitchen)
• Plasma TV of 20 inch screen, DVD player, I-Pod Speaker and Stereo

WEDDINGS AND EVENTS

Shalimar Villa Estate is an ideal venue for weddings, parties and events, with the facilities to cater for up to 150 people. The extensive flat lawns are bordered by towering coconut palms and complemented by a white Palimanan stone stage, ideal for Balinese dance performances. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Indian ocean with dramatic coastline views enhanced by Bali’s legendary sunsets, making Shalimar Villa Estate a prefect place to say “ I do”.
