What a beautiful villa, very well designed. I stayed there with my family and we had an amazing time. It sits on top of a hill so has a fantastic view from Uluwatu all the way to mt Agung. Close to restaurants and surfing beaches. Service was great and friendly. We will definitely be back.

So sad to say goodbye to Villa Capung. From the moment we arrived at the airport to the big smile from Bagus, our driver, we have been enchanted. Kadek has provided 5* food throughout along with a cooking class which we loved. The food has been better than any restaurant and we have only ever eaten out at lunchtime. Komang has been so kind and caring, her warmth and love is obvious to us all when she smiles and cares for us in the most gracious way. Herry has been wonderful and made our every dream come true - thank you Herry! We have all fallen a little in love with Eka whose smile lights up our world and he as an amazing dancer everyone should see at the Temple. We felt so safe her thanks to the wonderful security team. Bagus, we love your laughter and positive attitude, thank you for taking us on adventures we will remember forever. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They always try their best to help you with anything you ask for. The chef cooks wonderful BBQ dinner. The manager recommends places of attraction and guided tour if you go without any itinerary. The villa is located quite a bit of distance from the main road. It makes it quiet and peaceful. Good place to stay in if you need a chill and relax vacation.

My wife & I stayed at villa Capung in April 2015 for our Honeymoon for a total of 8 nights. I'm currently staying at Villa Capung... DEFINITELY MUST ORDER THE IN DINING SEAFOOD BBQ Especially 'Mums' homemade bbq sauce... AMAZING! Staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond! The chef 'Mum' (that's what our group calls her) Made J is one of the best cooks we have ever experienced.. The villa is beautiful. Breathtaking views, stunning infinity pool, very spacious! Master bedroom is huge!! Location is great for a quiet, low key intimate holiday.. Surrounded by Bali's best and beautiful beaches. We will definitely be staying here again!

The villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac high on the hill with views over the ocean. Bingin and Dreamland beach are a 5 minute scooter ride away. Nothing is really walking distance and scooters were arranged by Damah( the villa concierge ) within the hour. the roads to the beach and restaurants are quiet so even the fearful can hire a scooter. The staff of this villa are outstanding. Our in- house chef was ms. Made. A continental breakfast is included , but we upgraded to a egg and bacon option most days for a small fee. The in-house menu is substantial with Made trained in Western cooking. The Quality of our in-house cooking was superior to virtually every restaurant in the area we visited. Masseuses,scooters,restaurant bookings - all organised within minutes by this capable team. Other benefits to this villa: reliable reasonably fast wifi, fully kitted BOSE media system with huge selection of DVD, large comfortable rooms and beds decked in excellent quality linen, Nespresso coffee machine, evening turn-down service, 24 hour security, are just but a few. This villa is highly recommended. I must note that this property would not work for a family with young children as the house is designed with each bedroom separate and private

The entire experience was an absolute dream come true! The villa is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, and on top of it all - was the most peaceful holiday ever! We had a yoga/tai chi class with Louisa which was definitely a highlight, as well as the amazing dinners Made J made for us every night (our group looked forward to them every day!) all of the staff at Villa Capung are truly the most genuine and sweet group of people you could ever meet. They continued to go above and beyond - Made J even offered to alter my newly bought shirts from Bali and had them ready the next day! Just amazing, I can't say enough. You must have at least one dinner at the Villa, prices are incredibly reasonable and everything we ate made our mouths water. After day one we left it up to Made (the chef) to choose the menu for the remaining nights - and we were never disappointed. We rented scooters (absolutely do this) and road to Kuta (crazy town), the Uluwatu Temple (10 min away) and all over the village. So lush! For those first timers to Bali = Seminyak for shopping, Padong Beach nearby is lovely and Uluwatu Temple fire show is awesome! (if you look closely you will spot one of the staff members from the Villa in the show!) Go to Ubud (book a driver), cruise through the village with all the stone carvings, take up a yoga class and a surf lesson. Enjoy Bali

We are currently staying as a group of 3 generations and this has been a very special stay for us. We are quite frequent visitors to Bali and have never stayed at a more beautiful and restful place. The views are spectacular. the rooms very tastefully decorated. there is plenty of room for us to have our personal space . The pool and view are to die for.The food is delicious and prepared with love. Thank you Ibu Made. The staff Dama Herawan Eka and Eni. Have been attentive without being intrusive. We just had to get used to being waited on! We would love to return. No wonder this Villa of dragonflies is so sought after. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

I am still in Villa Capung while typing this. The place is stunning and beautifully designed. My family and I stayed for 4 nights and I have never felt so relaxed during my vacation! The place is equipped with everything you could ever ask for. Most of the time we had meals at the villa prepared by the soft-spoken and wonderful cook, Bu Made. We loved the food and on the last night here we had BBQ for dinner (highly recommended!) The staffs were just so great and helpful too. If you are in need of a private car and driver, be sure to ask for Pak Kadek. He is very helpful and friendly and able to recommend you places to go if you are clueless. Overall, I highly recommend this place and the excellent reviews made by other guests were really genuine! I want to come back soon :)

We very much enjoyed the quiet location of the villa and the fact that every requirement we had was able to be satisfied. The food was exceptional and certainly the highlight. The staff were friendly yet unobtrusive and left us alone as necessary. There were also available to assist as necessary.
All the staff warrant recognition for the expert service they provide. The rooms and grounds were kept extremely tidy and clean, the meals were exceptionally well cooked and presented and our personal issues were expertly attended to by the butler staff. Every meal was delightful both in taste and presentation. We felt we were able to provide Made with an outline of the type of meal we would enjoy and she was able deliver items which met (and exceeded) our wishes. We also found the meals extremely good value compared with meals elsewhere. Particular favourite dishes included Bbq'd whole fish and Sticky Black Rice Pudding. Thank you and the Villa staff again for a wonderful stay at Villa Capung and we look forward to a return visit.

A stay at Villa Capung is an experience not to be missed... this little piece of heaven will rejuvenate, refresh and re-invigorate the most stressed and weary soul... The friendly staff leave you wondering what you did to deserve such amazing treatment - nothing is too much trouble and they never stop smiling.. The ameneties are world class, the location is both stunning and convenient and the service is impeccable... The only drawback is that the time seems to fly.... However, an added bonus is that when you leave Villa Capung, you leave there as a better person...
